Accommodation

There’s no “right way” to experience Greenbelt. Every weekend ticket (or two consecutive day tickets) includes space in our camping fields. For Greenbelters bringing a caravan, staying off-site, or wanting to dial up the comfort with our glamping options or rented tents, you’ll need to pre-book. Explore our accommodation options to figure out the best solution for you.

Essential Information

Wondering when to arrive at Greenbelt, what to expect, and when to head home?

Our Essential Information, AKA everything you need to know ahead of your trip, will be released nearer to the festival, but in the meantime:

  • The Festival site opens for camping arrivals on Thu 22 Aug (exact time TBC). Access will be to the carparks and campsite only.
  • The Festival village itself – the Glade Arena and Campsite Hub venues – will open from 6pm Thursday evening (closing at midnight).
  • The main full festival programme then starts on Friday morning (23rd) – with access to the whole festival village and all programmed venues.
  • The main festival programme ends very last thing on Sunday night (25th) – well, actually, in the early hours of Monday.
  • We then ask all Festival attendees to be offsite by midday on Monday (26th).

Access

We work hard to ensure that people with access needs – and their friends and families – are welcomed and included at Greenbelt Festival. We’ve even won awards for our efforts. Here’s our essential information for Greenbelters with access needs.

Open Festival

Our Open Festival free ticket scheme invites you to nominate people, who you know would value and benefit from the Greenbelt experience but can’t make it work financially.

We are also looking at new ways to make the festival more accessible, including new accommodation options. Keep an eye out, these will be announced in the new year.

Children & Families

From traffic-free campsites to the biggest, poshest, best-mown lawn you could imagine to play on (we’re back on there this year!), and from gorgeous, ancient trees to wildlife aplenty – with geese, swans, herons and buzzards – Boughton is a paradise for children (of all ages).

Our children and family’s line-up is already stacked with good stuff and it’s only getting busier.
