App-y days are here again

We’re pleased to be able to say that our 2026 Festival App is now available for Apple and Android devices.

We’ve worked with the same app developers again, so the app has plenty of features that proved popular last year. You can search the full programme, build your own schedule, and explore an interactive map, for example.

We’ve also added a whole bunch of new features too, you can read about some of them below.

Overall, the App is designed so that you need to spend as little time in it as possible. Meaning you can spend as much time enjoying the festival as you want to as possible. In other words, it does what all good tech should do: it helps you have a fuller experience of the festival IRL.

All this, and we’ve held the price at last year’s rate – that’s just £4.99 for all the content, all the artists, all the venues and the complete schedule. The complete festival, in the palm of your hands.

Get the Greenbelt app

The 2026 app is now available on iOS for your iPhone. Release on Android is imminent but we’ve a teething problem with payments that will hopefully be resolved in the next 24-36 hours. The best laid plans, and all that. Apologies to everyone not on iPhones but this should be resolved in the next few days, and the Play store there to welcome you. Meanwhile, our website is fully listings-ready for any deep dives you might want to take.

An interactive map

This feature enables you to tap on a venue to see more information about it and see the venue’s programme. You can also ‘navigate to’ a place based on your current location, share your current location with a festival friend, filter the map to just show what you need (like toilets or First Aid, for instance), and even mark the location of your tent or car on the map so you can find your way back to it!

We heard your feedback that you missed the clashfinder – so it’s back and better than ever, to help make sure you don’t double-book yourself.

You can also now see the full Greenbelt schedule in a simplified timeline view – or just your own schedule in timeline view – with any clashes highlighted.

Powerful search

Easily search all the content in the App – meaning you can find exactly what you want fast; which also means you can get back to enjoying the festival quickly.

Accessible designs

The App has a more accessible user interface than our previous Apps. One of the main reasons we went with VIKIN was their track record on accessibility and their long-term road plan to build more accessible-friendly features.

Updates
Pretty much all of the lineup is in the App. But there will be a few errors and omissions on the first release. Rest assured, we’ll be updating and adding to the data in the run-up to and across the festival weekend. (Please note that internet connection at the festival fields can be unreliable, so please be sure to install the App while you’re still at home. We recommend refreshing your App just before you head off on your Greenbelt adventure – while you’re still on a fast internet connection.)

Please note: If you have a relic Greenbelt app from years gone by installed, it will NOT update to this new version and is no longer supported by us. Please delete it from your device and install this new one.
