The BBC will be with us this year at Greenbelt. With Africa Lives on the BBC, their Interactive BBC bus, working with Radio Greenbelt, reporting on Greenbelt, and providing talks in The Tank, too.

Africa Lives on the BBC The BBC Africa Lives season is celebrated by BBC Local Radio and the BBC Where I Live websites with an exhibition of stunning photographs, live African music and a selection of the best bits of BBC programmes from the series. Catch the live music on Saturday, Sunday afternoon and all day Monday and get a real flavour of Africa. Performance times displayed in the venue. Interactive BBC Meet the BBC at their interactive broadcasting bus complete with live radio studio. Ask for a tour of their fantastic new faith sites on the web. Discover how you could be contributing to the site in your area and how to get your faith story across to the millions who visit these sites every week. The BBC is unique in offering 43 web sites with pages dedicated to faith news, views and information. The bus will also be providing the studio from where some of the best guests from Greenbelt will be chatting to listeners on the 39 BBC local radio stations across the country. The BBC and Radio Greenbelt Award-winning journalists from BBC local radio are sharing their skills and expertise with the volunteers who bring you Radio Greenbelt. For the first time the BBC will also be supplying hourly news and weather bulletins to Radio Greenbelt courtesy of BBC Radio Gloucestershire – so you can keep in touch with what is happening in the world outside while making the most of what the festival has to offer. Reporting Greenbelt Thirty-nine BBC local radio stations will be hearing all about Greenbelt this year. At the festival is Naomi Wellings from BBC English Regions Religion providing live reports and interviews over the four days. Also present is Ashley Peatfield who is responsible for the BBC’s reporting of faith on BBC local radio, Where I Live websites and regional television. Talks The BBC’s local radio and Where I Live websites have made faith a central plank of its broadcasting. Hear from its award-winning journalists how you can get onto the airwaves with news and stories about the organisations and people you represent. Join them for all the top tips for getting noticed and getting your story across. Plus the nuts and bolts of how to best approach your local services to ensure your voice is heard.
