Made In Palestine

Let’s face it, Christmas in 2020 felt a little different.

To help us navigate this, we turned back to the story of that first Christmas, as told in the four gospels. But we added a fifth, sixth and seventh gospel of our own, as we mined the creativity and hope that was born in Bethlehem all that time ago.

We dug deep into the vision of love, humanity, justice, generosity and vulnerability that was Made in Palestine that first Christmas, and which can still help us see more clearly today.

What's it all about?

Through cooking, creativity, and conversation, we sought to pen an arc that stretched from the stable in Bethlehem to a globalised world ravaged by a pandemic and anxiety as never experienced before. We did this by drawing strength and inspiration from a people who continue to live and love in the face of their perpetual lockdown.
