Rensoll

Rensoll (Rachael Ensoll) is a Lakes-based Performance poet and Illustrator. She is driven by a stubborn curiosity into what makes us tick and the universality of these individual experiences.

Beyond a childhood filled with music, mountains and movement, there can be no doubt that spending 21 of her 26 years in Greenbelt’s muddy sunshine has affected her eclectic career path. Today Rensoll is certainly a multidisciplinary. Contemporary dance, trumpet, an Illustration degree and over a decade on the open mic scene to name a few angles. All of which have led her to running creative workshops for schools and venues like Explore York NPO. Through it all, there is one deep seated aim: to hold space for stretching our sense of what a more interesting future might look like, both in ourselves and for everyone else.

Most recently, Rensoll performed at Leeds Jazz Fest in Blur The Lines and is currently developing a one woman show that moves through the aftermath of sexual assault. The highs and lows of Letting It All Go. TART will be touring next year and a shorter version of which will be performed in Greenbelt’s Caravan of Love this summer.
