Founding director of the Wild Goose Festival, and founder of Movies & Meaning, a community and festival reducing violence through better storytelling, he is the author or co-author of several books on spirituality, art, peacemaking and how to take life seriously without believing your own propaganda. Married to the Baptist chaplain and activist Brian Ammons, he is an advocate for the full inclusion of LGBTQ people and gifts in the life of the church and the world.
