New and newsworthy
If you’re coming to this year’s Greenbelt and are aged 11-18 there is so much going on onsite for you to get involved with. We have a packed programme just for you and two designated Youth venues so you can make the most of your time at Greenbelt.
Discover some of the highlights here.
If there’s a mainstage in heaven right now … it’s been built by Rob Quinn, it’s being managed by Geoff Boswell, compered by Steve Fairnie, and John O’Donohue is in conversation with Mike Yaconelli on it. You probably have friends in the audience. And somewhere, in the thinness of Greenbelt this August, we might just hear its echoes.
As we move the festival from Cheltenham Racecourse to Boughton House, there are all sorts of things that will change. That’s exciting, but it can also be a bit unsettling.
I am still afraid of dying on my bicycle, but courage is not the absence of fear, it’s the triumph over it, and the more time I spend thinking about traffic, the more I think that we need to overcome our fear of it together, and allow it less power over our lives in all kinds of ways. Not for the for the sake of survival, but for the sake of joy.
