Where Words Can Go but Not Return

 

Philip Gross reads from his latest poetry collection, Deep Field (shortlisted for Wales Book of the Year 2012), which movingly charts his elderly father’s journey into deep aphasia and deafness, raising questions about language and old age for us all.

Award-winning poet Philip Gross lives in south Wales and teaches creative writing at Glamorgan University. He thrives on collaboration with musicians, visual artists and the theatre. Philip won the TS Eliot Prize in 2009.
