There’s No Place Like Home

 

In the techicolored, diverse world of Oz, Dorothy yearns for home – the homogenous, monochrome state of Kansas. In an increasingly diverse world why do so many yearn for homogenous, monochrome nature of fundamentalism? Or alternatively, if Greenbelt is Oz why do we return home?

Ben Edson works in the Diocese of Manchester establishing and encouraging pioneering ministries. He also heads up the worship programming subgroup at Greenbelt and will soon complete his PhD on new religious communities.
