We often hear the phrase, “Live simply that others may simply live”, but how do we do that? What does that mean in a society that constantly encourages us to get more? How can we learn the art of contentment and live lives that walk lightly on God’s earth?
Ruth Valerio runs A Rocha UK’s Living Lightly project and is on the leadership of Spring Harvest. She is a community activist, academic, Bible teacher and author. She is currently working on her doctoral thesis, looking at simple living as a Christian response to consumerism.
