The growing edge

 

Many people today feel that they are “one the edge” or even “over the edge” of institutional religion. This can be a lonely, and a risky place to be. But it can also be a “growing edge” of the Kingdom. An opportunity to explore how we can live creatively on this growing edge, in the tension of our many questions, but in fidelity to the core of our being, in God.

Margaret Silf would label herself now as an ecumenical Christian committed to working across and beyond the denominational boundaries with a growing sense that ‘the Christic vision’ is far too big to be contained in ‘the church’, and that very many people are deeply ‘spiritual’, though few would call themselves ‘religious’.
