The ‘flexible’ boundaries in Israel/Palestine are enabled via a ‘temporary’ state of nowar/ no-peace. These twin categories will be traced from the banks of the Suez Canal to the building of the ‘wall’.

Eyal Weizman is an architect based in Tel Aviv and London. He has conducted research on the planning aspects of the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and recently created an exhibition entitled ‘A Civilian Occupation: The Politics of Israeli Architecture’.
