Lisa-Jayne Lewis

Lisa-Jayne is an ordained minister and began her career as a chaplain at the World Trade Center in New York following the attacks of 9/11, this left her with a life-long passion to see people empowered to talk about death and dying. She currently works at a Hospice in community development, alongside this she created and runs mortaliTEA which provides death, dying and end-of-life education in the community. She is the author of ‘Dying Queer’; and is currently writing ‘Ducks in a Row!’; a practical how-to guide to end-of-life and post-mortem planning.

(Please note mortaliTEA is a ‘death positive’ event where we discuss death and dying in an open and honest manner, it does not offer bereavement support, counselling or therapy. If you need to access any of these please speak to your GP or seek out other resources in your
community.)
