Katie Jones has been a self employed artist for over 15 years.
She mainly makes work in community settings with Bradford based community arts company Cecil Green Arts. She regularly attends protests and marches, often making bespoke placards. She sees political activism as an extension of her art and will customise an outfit and often a hat around a cause. She had attended Greenbelt festival for many years and sees it as her spiritual home.
Katie Jones will be leading Art School session “Hope on a Placard” on Saturday 25th August, 5.30pm – 7pm and Monday 27th August, 10.30am – 12pm
