Jojo is a writer, speaker and lay advocate, known locally and nationally for her work supporting and inspiring community mobilisation against dangerous industrial activity (unconventional oil and gas extraction or “fracking”, incineration).
With a background in languages, travel, design and entrepreneurship she has a broad range of skills that might loosely be termed Creative Direction & Communication.
Jojo has been working closely with Polly Higgins since 2014 and is co-founder with Polly of Mission Lifeforce, the global legal campaign to establish ecocide as an international crime. Polly describes her as “right-hand woman and natural lawyer”. She has particular skill in the distillation and presentation of complex information as well a talent for inspiring or “lifting the energy” in any given group or context.
