Father Jarel Robinson-Brown is Vicar of St German’s Church, Cardiff.
He is Visiting Scholar at Sarum College Salisbury, and Visiting Fellow at Regent’s Park College, University of Oxford. From 2021-2024 he served as Assistant Curate in the parish of St Botolph-without-Aldgate in the City of London, and prior to that served as Associate Chaplain at King’s College London.
His research interests are in late antiquity, particularly focussed on the body, desire, sex and ethnicity. He is currently undertaking doctoral studies at the University of Aberdeen with the Very Reverend Professor John Behr.
Jarel is also honorary canon of Bangor Cathedral and Co-Chair of the Global LGBT+ Christian Charity OneBodyOneFaith.
