Helena is a youth and community worker currently living and working in Sheffield.
She grew up in Cambridge and east London and prior to going to university to train as a youth worker, she worked with the London Gypsy and Traveller Unit campaigning on accommodation and equality issues.
As an Irish Traveller Helena believes passionately in challenging the discrimination and stigma that her community face and would like to dispel some myths about the Gypsy, Traveller and Roma communities.
