Science and Religion: Exploring the Spectrum

 

If you believe the news, you’d think that science and religion are locked in eternal conflict. Religious believers are often portrayed as irrational and dangerously “anti-science” . But beyond the headlines, the relationship between evolutionary science and religion is way more complex and interesting. Professor Fern Elsdon-Baker is the Principal Investigator of the Science and Religion: Exploring the Spectrum project at Newman University and Dr. Carissa A. Sharp, Ph.D., is a Research Fellow and Associate Director of Newman University’s Centre for Science, Knowledge and Belief in Society.
