A town is in turmoil. A hospital is closing. And an MP is dead on the train tracks… Accident? Or opportunity?
When a local hospital announces its closure, panic ensues. Healthcare Assistant Rhea is forced to look for work elsewhere. Local lad Aaron worries about his mum’s treatment in the cancer unit. And Curtis just isn’t sure where he’s going to sleep. But when the three witness a horrific accident, a rare opportunity presents itself. As a dangerous decision triggers a wild chain of events, Rhea, Aaron and Curtis soon find themselves gathering power, influence and infamy – and inspiring a cohort of vigilante activists.

Chalk Line is a multi-award-winning company who have toured work nationally and internationally. We are formally a Graduate Emerging Company of The New Diorama (19/20) and Associate Artists at the L&U Theatre (20/21).
Our work is both thematically and visually ambitious. As a company we look to experiment with form, by tackling socio-political subject matter in an innovative way. Our aim is to:

Beyond the stage we provide free self-producing workshops to working class artists having collaborated with COMMON, artsdepot, NT Connections and The Pleasance. We deliver workshops in schools and youth theatre groups, provide free/discounted theatre trips for young creatives, and raise money for charities including CALM and Abortion Support Network.
