The Flying Bazazi Brothers presented by Nearly There Yet

Nearly There Yet uses creative physical work to excite and engage – aiming to connect with a wide range of people through an ordinary approach to the extraordinary worlds of circus and performance.

Whether performing, creating, or providing learning or development opportunities, Nearly There Yet strives to build on its core values of openness, diversity, and quality for all.

Work in the last two years has included Lab Rat (a co-production with Genius Sweatshop), The Party (an indoor family piece which has toured the UK extensively), Move On (a one man verbatim piece about cultural displacement set in a dressing room), Pinocchio (a physical version focusing on adult/child relationships) and outdoor piece: The Flying Bazazi Brothers.

Kaveh Rahnama has also worked outside Nearly There Yet as a director and performer. Last year he directed Light Up for the Roundhouse and will this year be working with their street circus collective directing a piece alongside Studio Wayne McGregor. He has also co-devised and toured with Proteus for the last three years on their shows Rapunzel, Little Red, and Brrr.

Nearly There Yet makes work through collaborations with other creatives and venues. Kaveh is a supported artist of Jacksons Lane and associate artist of Proteus.
