Tankus the Henge

Tankus the Henge

Six sharply dressed gents from London Town armed with urban tales or woe and wonder to take you on an eclectic musical journey. Their style draws from a multitudinous array of styles including; rock, blues, gypsy punk and funk.

The band released their debut self titled album in 2013 and have since toured across the UK and Europe, playing to sold out shows including selling out London’s famous Borderline venue twice and Camden’s Jazz Cafe before landing a headline show at London’s 700 capacity Scala, Nov 2015.

Charismatic lead singer Jaz Delorean resembles a lost Dickens character from deepest Victorian London who draws audiences into darkened rooms to sing tales and entertain them in remarkable fashion playing piano, accordion, trombone and singing while the band accompany him like classic troubadours from old time New Orleans. The incredible stage presence with which they captivate audiences has seen them play all the major UK festivals and become a main stage choice time and time again for events aimed at both young and old, from the foot tappers to the party animals.
