St. Catherine’s Child

With a name inspired by the patron saint of eloquent women, St. Catherine’s Child has vocal strength and poetic songwriting at its heart; and at the heart of St. Catherine’s Child is singer-songwriter Ilana Zsigmond, one of the rising stars of the indie folk/Americana scene. Born in England to musical parents, Ilana spent the majority of her childhood in New Haven, Connecticut, with some bouncing back and forth between continents. After settling back in the UK in 2015, she formed a band that reflects the Americana aesthetic that surrounded her throughout her childhood with the articulation and dry wit of her British sensibilities.
