Greenbelt is proud to present a slice of pure trans joy: making their festival debut, GOB (Goddexes of Beatbox) Orchestra is the world’s first trans and non-binary beatbox supergroup. Imagine seven extraordinary vocalists. They’re not gods or goddesses, they’re Goddexes: deities of sound who exist beyond expectation and category. Each Goddex’s artistry goes beyond the binary, on a soul-stirring, all-vocal journey which blends jaw-dropping beatbox gymnastics, lush harmonies, and booty-shaking bass. GOB is the brainchild of SK Shlomo, beatboxer and Greenbelt favourite, described by The Times as a “one-person music festival”.
