Rose Betts

Rose Betts grew up in England but her Irish heritage has a heavy bearing on her music – which some have described as Celtic indie-pop. We love her melodic sensibility and the warmth of her vocal delivery, and we’re reminded at times of the late lamented Greenbelt alumnus Sinead O’Connor in her revivifying and remodelling of traditions. Rose moved to Los Angeles during the pandemic, and after that came a meteoric rise on social media platforms such as TikTok and Meta, with tens of millions of streams across her diverse body of work – including viral hit Doodles – and more than 800,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
