Pete Moorey is the Head of Church and Community at Christian Aid responsible for engaging, equipping and inspiring churches across Britain to give, act and pray to end extreme poverty and injustice.
He was previously Head of Campaigns & UK Advocacy at Christian Aid and has worked in the charity sector in a variety of roles – including at Which? and the National Council for Voluntary Organisations – over the past 25 years. Outside of work, he is an active member of Christ Church Gipsy Hill where he sits on the church council, preaches, leads worship and contributes to youth work. Pete is passionate in supporting the church to be a prophetic voice on issues of justice – locally, globally, nationally and globally.
He is a keen musician with a deep love of jazz.
