Lois

Lois is a Leeds based artist who creates honest and outspoken music. Taking inspiration from the likes of HAIM, Olivia Dean and The Japanese House, her influences span a multitude of genres including Pop, Soul and Alternative Rock, landing on a uniquely exciting blend that makes up her current discography.

Lois channels her own narrative through compelling lyrics, coupled with an expansive alternative pop/ rock blend, creating music with a message that is both powerful and progressive. She explores difficult themes such as grief and trauma, but also delves into self-love and mental healing, with the intent to bring comfort and strength to those that need it most.

Alongside her brilliant releases, Lois has also made a name for herself playing live across the country Supporting Etta Marcus at The Wardrobe, Leeds, headlining Jodie Bryant’s Discover Live showcase in Manchester as well as an impressive run of festivals, including Live At Leeds, Highest Point Festival, The Great Escape, Liverpool SoundCity and Kendal Calling. She also made her debut London show at the Live Nation ‘Source’ showcase, and sold out her Leeds headline at Hyde Park Book Club.

Following her hugely well received debut EP ‘Strange Men’ Lois is set to record and realise her hotly anticipated second EP in 2024.
