Jock

Jock are a three-piece Belfast alternative punk band, formed in 2022. Major influences for Jock are bands that embrace post-punk revival and indie rock such as: Gossip, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Le Tigre. Jock also draws on 90s riot girl bands such as Bikini Kill, Red Aunts, Heavens to Betsy, and Babes in Toyland.

Jock ended 2024 on the featured ‘New Music Fix’ Radio 6 line-up in Belfast. The now Brighton-based trio had success with their last single – ‘Joe Duffy’, which was featured on Emily Pilbeam’s Radio 6 New Music Fix, as Track of the Week – as well as being showcased on Deb Grant’s BBC Radio 6 show and BBC playlist.
