Hannah Davies

Hannah Davies is a writer, theatre-maker and multi-slam winning spoken word poet from Yorkshire. She has performed at leading spoken word nights across the country including Hammer and Tongue, Sonnet Youth, Milk, Inua Ellams Rap Party.

Her first poetry collection DOLLS is a fierce and tender collection about womanhood, motherhood, feminism and survival, and was launched as part of York Literature Festival in 2023. Hannah is an Associate Artist at Say Owt who programme music, gigs and poetry slams in the north. She loves to perform with this loveable rowdy poetry gang and often facilitates writing workshops as part of her role.
