Hamish Leese

Hamish is the Director of Environmental Engagement for the Methodist Church in Great Britain, and leads on Action for Hope, the Church’s ambitious journey towards net zero.

Action for Hope focusses on ensuring that the assets of the Church are used in a way which is consistent with our faith, as well as exploring the theological underpinning of our engagement with these issues.

Hamish holds postgraduate qualifications in International Politics, Theology and Sustainability, and he is passionate about the intersections of these disciplines. He lives and works in Falkirk in Scotland and is engaged with work around ecology and the energy transition.
