Gecko

Gecko is a singer-storyteller based in South London with a couple of previous visits under his (Green)belt. His songs cover the big things in life with wit and warmth: from Laika, the dog sent on a one-way space mission in the 1950s, to ignored characters in renaissance paintings; from pig fugitives (you read that right) to guanabana fruit juice. Gecko has performed across the world including at Glastonbury, Latitude, BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, the Edinburgh Fringe, and BAFTA-winning Sky Arts show Life & Rhymes. Gecko’s songs have caused a stir on TikTok and Instagram, with millions of views and hardly any mean comments.
