Archbishop Linda Nicholls, currently retired, served as Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada, Bishop of Huron, and Suffragan Bishop, Diocese of Toronto after almost 20 years as a parish priest and several years in the national office as Coordinator for Dialogue for Ethics, Interfaith Relationships and Congregational Development.
Prior to ordained ministry she taught high school music and math at Woodstock School in India.
Throughout her ministry she has explored ecumenical relationships, medical ethics, and the nature of community in the face of differences.
She shared in the Anglican Roman Catholic Dialogue in Canada for many years and internationally on the Anglican Roman Catholic International Commission.
Linda continues to serve on the Commission for Science and Faith in the Anglican Communion.
She holds degrees in music and education in addition to an MDiv, DMin and honorary doctorates from Wycliffe, Huron and Trinity Colleges.
For selfcare she enjoys choral singing; wilderness canoeing – and being staff to a cat!
