The natural world has always been an inspiration for El’s work. Whether using foraged materials, creating reliefs or moulds from organic surfaces or making dyes from plants. She’s especially passionate about recycling and a main focus of her work is to reuse, recycle or repurpose items and materials wherever possible, bringing life back into something that would otherwise be discarded.
