Dizraeli

Dizraeli

Rapper, singer, poet, person: the half-daft missionary who forced folk to marry hiphop. Also the frontman of the nearly-cult folk-hop band the Small Gods (playing at Greenbelt too).

His elastic, unhinged flows run through the supermarkets, love, tenements and rain of Engurland with a sidelong smile and a twist of phrase.

Dizraeli has won the BBC Radio 4 Poetry Slam and the Farrago UK Slam Championships. He’s written several hiphop plays, including the award-winning The Rebel Cell with Canadian nutbag Baba Brinkman.
