Christians Against Poverty

Christians Against Poverty

Christians Against Poverty exists because nobody should be held hostage by debt and poverty.

But the truth is that they’re rife in the UK. We’re not prepared to accept that 1.5 million people live in destitution – going without food, a bed and other essentials – particularly in one of the world’s largest economies.

We’re on a mission to release thousands of families from grinding poverty through award-winning debt counselling and community groups. We equip and empower local churches to reach out on their doorsteps and bring hope to over 21,500 families every year.

Join us in asking the UK government, the church and those in our communities to look again at UK poverty. Visit us in the Greenbelt Takeaway and see if you can beat the clock in our #lookagain escape room challenge.
