Andy Thornton (he/hymn) is the Community Minister of Foundation: an inclusive, creative, contemplative, socially engaged and low-key radical (church?) community in Bristol, UK.
He’s also an LGBTQ+ Stonewall Person of Faith Rolemodel, an artist and illustrator primarily working on summaries of research into marginalised communities, and a speaker on inclusion and diversity. He’s published a trans children’s book called Rebekah’s Secret Grandpa, and appeared on podcasts, including Doing it! With Hannah Witton, Blessed are the Binary Breakers and Don’t Panic.
Andy is a trans, AuDHD, poly, chronically ill, Christian Quaker (try saying that with a mouth full of marshmallows). In his spare time he writes poetry and weird short stories, looks at trees, and takes his friends wild swimming as the only gay in the group who can drive. He loves living in Bristol, but Greenbelt is his favourite place on earth.
