Andrew Harper is Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Responsibility Officer at Epworth Investment Management, where he leads the firm’s responsible investment strategy alongside its client relations and business development functions.
He is an Executive Director of the company and has been at the forefront of developing ethical investment policy, shareholder stewardship, and faith-based engagement with some of the world’s largest companies and financial institutions.
Andrew is a recognised voice on the intersection of finance, ethics and theology. His work explores how capital markets shape society, addressing issues including climate change, artificial intelligence, human rights, and corporate responsibility. He has led high-profile investor initiatives, including OECD proceedings concerning fossil fuel finance, and regularly speaks to churches, charities and investment professionals on the moral responsibilities of investors.
Before joining Epworth, Andrew worked in theological education and innovation.
He is an ordained minister in the Methodist Church of Nigeria and holds postgraduate qualifications in theology, including a Doctor of Ministry.
