The Ven Dr. Rosalyn Kantlaht’ant Elm

The Ven Dr. Rosalyn Kantlaht’ant Elm is Onyota:aka (Oneida) from the Bear clan and is an Anglican priest. Rosalyn holds the office in the Diocese of Huron as Archdeacon of Truth and Reconciliation and Indigenous Ministries and as Director of Indigenous Ministries for the Anglican Church of Canada.

Her work focuses on Indigenous self-determination, Anglican governance, theology, reconciliation, she is deeply engaged in the life of the Anglican Church of Canada, as particularly in areas related to leadership development, and organizational transformation.

Her interests bridge theology, Indigenous knowledge systems, governance, and social change. She frequently explores themes such as generative belonging, survivance, resurgence, land-based spirituality, ecojustice, reconciliation, language revitalization, Indigenous Christian theology, and the relationship between faith and public life. Her work often seeks to move beyond trauma-centered narratives toward community renewal, resurgence, responsibility, and future-building.

Rosalyn regularly develops strategic plans, governance frameworks, ministry initiatives, educational resources, grant proposals, workshops, and theological reflections. Her writing and teaching often bring together Scripture, Anglican tradition, Indigenous philosophy, historical analysis, and contemporary social issues in ways that encourage dialogue, healing, and collective responsibility.
