Meg Wroe

Meg studied theology, became a children’s Occupational Therapist, then went to Central St Martins University of the Arts London and now works as an artist, inspired by the natural world and concerned about the climate crisis, seeking to capture a sense of wonder in painting trees, sea and sky.

Over the last few years Meg created a series of Icons of three angels, known as the ‘Trinity’ icon, in the tradition of the Russian iconographer, Andrei Rublev. One of these was used in St Paul’s Cathedral before being permanently installed in a church in North London. The others were installed in Iona Abbey and Southwark Cathedral.
