James Stewart is a partner and chief technology officer at digital transformation consultancy Public Digital. He works with governments and institutions like the World Bank, IMF and Gates Foundation to support inclusive use of digital technologies and practice to improve public services. Previously he was a senior civil servant, establishing the Government Digital Service within the Cabinet Office and building the GOV.UK website.
A long time Greenbelter, James’ activities at the festival have encompassed everything from booking music to a couple of years producing a newspaper.
