Jules Peters

Jules Peters

Mother of Dylan & Evan. Wife of Michael Peters.

Jules was born in Prestatyn North Wales, graduating from Bangor University with an English Literature degree and later qualifying as a teacher.

Jules met Mike in 1986 and they were engaged one week later. The rest is history!

Shortly after Jules and Mike met, Mike headed off to Greenbelt to perform a solo performance and so began Jules’ relationship with the Greenbelt Festival, later accompanying Mike to Greenbelt over the years for some very memorable performances.

Jules joined Mike on piano and keyboards in 1992 and so began an incredible adventure as they toured together all across the world

An entrepreneur, Jules is involved in a number of businesses and owns the Waterfall Apartments and The Red Pub in her home village of Dyserth, Wales.

A local councillor, Jules is passionate about bringing the community together and now has the perfect space in her home village where she encourages people to gather at The Red and next door at her converted Chapel.

Jules’ own breast cancer diagnosis in 2016 and her recovery have been the focus of two BBC documentaries.

As a consequence of the BBC documentaries, Jules began her presenting career, creating the ‘Big Night In’ during lockdown and more recently presenting events at The Red.

As a passionate wellbeing advocate, Jules can regularly be found on a mountain or beach ‘walking and talking’, playing her Piano or in her yoga studio, converted from the Peters’ family former recording studio.

Following on from Mike’s death earlier this year from lymphoma, Jules remains focused on raising her sons, running her global cancer charity, Love Hope Strength, expanding The Red and The Chapel in Wales and continuing the legacy of Mike Peters & The Alarm.
