Jon Miller

Deacon Jon is a Methodist minister serving in South West Wales Circuit where he works as a pioneer minister in St Clears in Carmarthenshire.

There he engages with the local community often by sitting in local cafés doing mission by “loitering with intent” sitting and painting. When painting in public, people will often come over to see what you are doing and that’s where conversation starts, then Jon gives them the painting to take away.

Trying new and creative things which do not look like traditional “church.” He runs Caffi Creu (Creation Café) a group which learns to paint watercolours while engaging with important topics and Bible study, Yr Eglwys heb Furiau (The Church without Walls) is the digital front door, pulpit and noticeboard of his work in St Clears. Jon enjoys all things arty and creative as an amateur artist and poet. He is passionate for mission and evangelism, and seeking justice for people with neurodiversities.
