Rachel Mann

Rachel Mann is a priest, theologian, prize-winning poet and broadcaster. She has written 16 books, including the 2024 T.S.Eliot shortlisted poetry collection, ‘Eleanor Among the Saints’, which celebrates the life of medieval trans woman and sex worker, Eleanor Rykener. As Archdeacon of Salford and Bolton she is the first trans person to hold a senior role in the Church of England. She regularly broadcasts on BBC Radio 2 and Radio 4, including Thought For The Day on the Today programme.
