Greenbelt: standing for a Just Peace

Following a trip to Israel-Palestine by some of the staff, trustees and volunteers in October 2008, at the 2009 festival Greenbelt launched a three-year campaign - Just Peace. The campaign is designed to raise awareness of the issues involved in the Israel-Palestine conflict - and, in particular, to highlight the oppression being suffered by the Palestinian people. This year, the campaign is stepping up a gear. There will be more ways of getting involved, more things you can do, and more resources provided for your churches and communities. We'll also be previewing things that will be happening at the festival – where you can go to find out more (in some rather unexpected ways!) and do your bit for Just Peace.
