Please note, this role is only open to those who have several year’s experience at volunteering at Greenbelt.
Situated in the Volunteers Lounge we are part of the support provided for Greenbelt Volunteers.
We help with answers to many varied questions about the site, facilities, venues etc. Information on Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) will be provided, but initiative, knowledge and experience of Greenbelt is needed at other times.
We also distribute Team Leader packs for all the Volunteer teams.
Other parts of the role include selling Greenbelt programmes, and providing phone charging facilities for the volunteers.
We work closely with the Volunteer Support team as the contact point for anyone needing specific support.
Other than that we take on miscellaneous tasks requested by the Volunteer Co-ordinator. As we support the other Volunteer teams, we start work on Thursday and work through until Monday 6pm.
