What will I be doing?
The Foundry is a Greenbelt volunteer-run Café, serving hot and cold drinks, as well as a range of non-alcoholic drinks in a welcoming and friendly space. Our café is a popular place for festival-goers to discuss what they have heard in talks around the site, take a break, meet and catch-up and relax with old friends and new.

Volunteers should be:
prepared to engage cheerfully and helpfully with customers, managing themselves calmly and patiently when under pressure with some experience of cash handling being beneficial. Like any volunteer,

Shifts lengths can be from two hours up to six hours per day. On average every volunteer will work 17-20 hours in total over the festival weekend, depending on café opening hours.
Volunteers are encouraged to arrive on the Friday (Thursday if possible) and be available for their shifts each day of the festival; Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon. The tank team briefing takes place at 12 noon on the Friday in the café venue, and all volunteers are required to attend
