Giving through eBay

Next time you sell something on eBay, you can donate a percentage of your sales directly to us.

Select Advanced Sell and Raise money for your favourite charity through eBay below the section where you set the price. Simply select Greenbelt Festivals from the list of charities and choose a percentage of the proceeds that you wish to donate (10-100%).

Mission Fish, who manage the eBay donation process, will then collect your donation when the auction ends and pass this onto us. And the good news is that you’ll receive a credit on selling fees equal to the percentage you’ve donated – so everyone’s a winner!

Hold an Event

Whether you plan to run a marathon or hold a jumble sale, as a registered charity, Greenbelt is grateful for all donations. If you are planning to hold an event to raise money for Greenbelt, contact giving@greenbelt.org.uk for support and advice.

Give through your Tax Return

This is a really simple one. If you are due a tax repayment from the Inland Revenue, you can nominate Greenbelt to receive some or all of this money. All you need to do is to quote our unique code – MAN56AG – and the Inland Revenue will then forward your donation directly to us.

If you’re a higher rate taxpayer, you can claim additional Income Tax relief on any Gift Aid donations you’ve made during the tax year, as well as on any gifts of land or shares. If you want a charity to benefit from your tax relief (as well as from receiving your gift) you can use Self Assessment Giving to pass on the repayment to the charity of your choice.

To find out more about these ways of giving, visit the Inland Revenue website.

Recycle Your Old Jewellery

We have come up with a simple way for you to help the environment whilst raising valuable funds for Greenbelt.

Any unwanted gold, silver, costume jewellery or watches can be turned into a donation, so why don’t you do a spring clean of your jewellery box? Even damaged, broken or incomplete items will help, so odd earrings and snapped chains are a great start.

To send your jewellery to us, just parcel it up securely (ideally in a recycled envelope) and post it free of charge to:-
