Media Capture Team

This team captures audio and video around the Festival for web and other broadcast. Types of roles include:-

Shift Leader

Responsible for up to four film crews (each made up of a camera operator, sound operator and producer) working on location across site, ensuring pre-arranged production schedule is met, responding to ad-hoc requests for filming and providing support as required. You will be a self started, responsible and a decision maker. No prior experience is required.

Producer

One of a team of three working alongside a camera operator and sound operator. Take full responsibility for footage captured, find suitable locations around site and brief contributors. Assist as required during shoots with duties including running, communicating with shift leader and ensuring filming proceeds smoothly. You will be a good all rounder, confident and able to take the initiative. Prior directorial experience is required.

Video Editor

Edit footage captured by film crews using iMovie following style guidelines and any instruction from producers in order to meet production schedules. Upload videos to YouTube and Vimeo and any other video sharing websites once they are approved. Prior experience is required. iMovie and any website training required will be provided.

Copywriter

Write titles and descriptions for video content on demand. Ensure videos are appropriately described and tagged on video sharing websites, making full use of all description (metadata) fields available. Copywriting experience is required.
