<>In particular Just Because has gained an enormous amount of press interest and coverage not to mention glowing commendations from former children’s laureates Michael Rosen and Jacqueline Wilson. The book is about her own two children Toby (2) and Clementine (5) who has severe cerebral palsy. Rebecca has written in various publications on the importance of positive representation of disability in children’s literature.Rebecca is passionate about the importance of creativity for everyone of all ages. She strongly believes we all have a child-like gooey soft centre even if it is encapsulated in a crispy adulty outer layer. Well set that goo free! Come along to her workshop and learn how to write and illustrate a picture book, and then put your new-found skills in to practice and create the first greenbelt picture books with her!
