Lineup
More than the sum of its parts, this collection of artists, thinkers, activists and people of passion will make the memories, trigger the creativity, transport you to a different place, and turn four days in August into the highlight of your year…
Accommodation
A temporary home for all tastes. Find a place for your own tent and join 95% of the festival population who camp, take the stress out of setting up by hiring a pre-erected tent from Tangerine Fields, or find out about local accommodation options from Cheltenham Tourist Board.
Transport
Getting to the festival is easy. And we’re always looking for ways to make it more ecological and to make our carbon footprint a little smaller. So read on for more information about public transport, lift-sharing, train tickets and shuttle buses…
Information
If you’re planning to join us at Greenbelt 2012, but have a random question, this is the best place to start. From photos and fires, to caravans and cleanliness – all of the details that you’ll need to consider, the answers to those frequently asked questions, and help to soothe the panic.
Children
From bookworms to party animals, from the crafty to the sporty, there’s plenty to entertain every child of every age at Greenbelt. Greenbelt for children aims to be just that – a smaller version of the creativity, joy and discovery of the programme for adults, designed especially for smaller people.
Youth
Young people get more out of the festival than anyone else. We’ve got an exciting range of workshops, debates and sessions in a dedicated venue, plus plenty of opportunities to meet and hang out with friends old and new, and to catch that Mainstage band or headline speaker…
Volunteering
Over 1600 volunteers come together each year to hand-make a festival. People from all walks of life bring their skill, enthusiasm and experience to eighty different teams, each with a vital part to play in facilitating a brilliant weekend for festivalgoers. See a different side of the festival, invest a little time, and the memories you take away and the new friends you make are yours to keep!
Access
Greenbelt is committed to make the festival as accessible for as many people as possible. If you have mobility requirements, or need other support to help you get onto site and make the most of the festival, our Access team would love to help you…
Resources
We’ve gathered together a range of resources to help people promote the festival. Download powerpoint presentations, adverts for your website, photos, logos and more besides. Or if you’d prefer, we can send you a pack including a promo DVD,flyers and posters.
