Why not photograph the planting of your seed when you get back home and post it up to the Greenbelt Flickr stream? In time, (we're talking years here, we're talking the Long Now!) you could record the progress of your seed as it grows, too!). Here's how.
You must add tags to your photos when you upload them via the email link (see the 'Greenbelt Links' column to the right). Here's how:
Just type "tags:" in the subject line or body of the email, followed by the list of tags you want added to your photo(s). (The rest of the subject line is converted to the photo's title and the body of the email becomes the photo's description.)
Here's an example of adding tags in action:
- Subject: Planting my olive seeds tags: "olive seeds" greenbelt
- Body: Here's me planting my olive seed when I got home from Greenbelt 09.
Or you could send them in the body:
- Subject: lanting my olive seeds
- Body: Here's me planting my olive seed when I got home from Greenbelt 09.
- tags: "olive seeds" greenbelt
(If you include tags in the email body, they must be at the beginning of a new line.)
Please note: tags sent via email are used in addition to any default tags you set up.
